Three years ago I had the honor of getting an agreement from Ron to use Louis' music on my cooking show in the Northeast. I had more compliments for that. the sad part was that when I sent the agreement back to Gia, hurricane Charlie and the next two hit us here in Florida and I lost track of how to contact her to tell her how wonderful it was to have the KING on the show with me! I now do a food talk show, and every chance I have I talk about Louis. I'm 56 years old, first generation Italian, (half Sicilian) and not a day goes by that I don't play the junglebook song, Angellina, or something to lift me up! This man is my hero of heros, and his inspiration for not only Italians, but all men , is top of the world! I pray for you and your family, and I think about my hero daily!!
Sante!

I am a recent fan of Louie Prima. I choose my music appreciation essay to be about him and his music. Love his energy, joy of intertaining and his music.

MaryAnn, There is no film footage, but I will check the photo archives to see if there is a photo that shows the audience. If so, I'll have Ron e-mail it to you. Perhaps you can identify your family. Regards to your Mom. Always, Gia

Ron Or Gia

My 86 year old mother is a HUGE fan of Louie Prima, just last night she saw something on TV called "That's Amore" which brougt back so many memories. Apparenlty our whole family saw him perform at the old Palumbo's in Phila & my grandfather was on stage dancing with him. I realize that Palumbo's is no longer here in Phila but I was wondering by chance does anyone have any films from the old Palumbo's. This is impossible but I would love to find that film with my family there at Palumbo's because they were in the front row and also I'm sure my grandfather wasn't the only one ever on stage at Palumbo's with Louie

Thank you

Maryann

Hi to all..I'm sure there's a lot of Louis record collectors,
but does any have pages for records? I'm very interested to
see other collectors stuff.
Here's my Prima collection (always under construction)
