Hi Gia. My name is Gia also and I am the daughter of Louis Basil and Victoria Basil. I am sure I have met you sometime long ago when I was little. I am going to see Louis Prima, Jr. tonight at the Hilton. My mom passed away last year and I found an old phone book of hers with your phone number in it. I have so many old pictures of when my dad was at Sahara and I'm not sure who everyone is in the photos but it shows how much fun you all had back in the day! I wish Vegas hadn't changed from that time. |

Vincent, Check the sites for our 'kids' shows. LouisPrimaJr.com LenaPrimaMusic.com I don't know if they have October Vegas appearances up yet. To my knowledge there are no other tribute shows for Louis. You will not find anything commemorating Louis in Vegas. SHAME ON THEM. We've tried and tried, over the years, but get no positive responses.. Gia |

I love Louis Prima's music..I listen to it all the time. I wish I would have seen him perform. Would love to see a tribute show his daughter performs. Does she ever come to New Orleans? I read where she did one in 2006 at the Monteleone. |

My wife and I have been on vacation visiting our children, only to return home to hear the sad news about my dear friend Sam Butera. There are no words coined yet to express how sorry I truly am. I know that death is a part of life, but nevertheless, it hurts deeply. Thank you Ron, and Gia for all of the wonderful work you two do here. Also thank you both for providing an outlet like this for those of us who love and appreciate the music of the great ones that must never be forgotten. Again, my heart is aching at this sad news.
